Gamers Freedom ("Gamers Freedom", "we", "us", "our") is a game server hosting service operated by Archway Point LLC, a Missouri limited liability company. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of gamersfreedom.com, our control panel, our billing portal, and any servers or related services we provide (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, ordering a server, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and accepts responsibility for your use of the Service. We may suspend or remove any account we reasonably believe belongs to a person under 13.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity occurring under your account. Contact us promptly at GamerSupport@archwaypoint.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not create multiple accounts in order to obtain additional free resources, evade limits, or circumvent a suspension.
Anonymizing networks. You may not create an account or sign in using a VPN, proxy, Tor exit node, hosting or datacenter IP address, or any other service that conceals the network you are connecting from. We may check the network you connect from at registration and at any time afterwards, and we may refuse, block, suspend, or terminate any account associated with such an address.
Linked accounts. Where we reasonably determine that several accounts are controlled by the same person - including on the basis of a shared IP address, shared device, or shared payment method - we may suspend or permanently delete any or all of those accounts, together with any servers, data, resources, or rewards obtained through them, without prior notice and without any obligation to preserve or return your data.
We offer a no-cost hosting tier (the "Free Tier"), currently limited to one server per account with 3 GB of RAM, which may increase to 4 GB through our referral program.
Email as a condition of the Free Tier. In exchange for providing the Free Tier at no cost, you agree to receive service and product email from us, including feature announcements and offers to upgrade. While we include an unsubscribe mechanism in promotional email as required by law, opting out of promotional email is available on paid plans; Free Tier accounts that wish to stop receiving it may upgrade to a paid plan or close their account. Transactional messages (verification, password resets, invoices, security and server notices) are sent on all plans and cannot be disabled.
Free Tier resources are provided at our sole discretion. We may change, reduce, suspend, reclaim, or discontinue the Free Tier, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. We may suspend or delete Free Tier servers that remain inactive for an extended period.
Idle sleep. To keep the Free Tier sustainable, a Free Tier server with no players connected for 12 consecutive hours is automatically stopped ("slept"). Sleeping does not delete anything - your world, plugins and configuration are preserved. You can restart the server at any time from the control panel, and it will come back exactly as you left it.
We may offer additional resources when you refer a new user who signs up. Referrals must be genuine. Creating fake, duplicate, or automated accounts, referring yourself, or otherwise manipulating the program is prohibited. We may withhold or revoke referral rewards and suspend accounts involved in abuse, at our discretion.
Referral abuse. Referrals must be genuine new users. You may not refer yourself, refer accounts that you create or control, or use additional email addresses, VPNs, or proxies to present yourself as more than one person. Referrals originating from the same network or device as the referrer may be rejected automatically. We may revoke any reward obtained in breach of this section, reclaim the associated resources, and suspend or delete every account involved.
You agree not to use the Service to host, store, transmit, or facilitate any of the following:
You also may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our prior written permission, or attempt to bypass resource limits, billing, or account restrictions.
Each plan includes stated limits on memory, storage, and other resources. Servers are hosted on shared infrastructure. If a server materially degrades performance for other customers, we may throttle, suspend, or restart it. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you first where practical, but may act immediately to protect the platform.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for each renewal.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time.
If a payment fails or an account becomes past due, we may suspend the associated server and, after a reasonable period, delete it and its data.
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us is a violation of these Terms.
Immediate suspension. When we are notified of a chargeback or payment dispute on your account, we may immediately suspend your account and all associated servers. Suspended servers are not reachable by you or your players. If the matter is not resolved within a reasonable period, we may terminate the account and permanently delete the server and all of its data, including worlds, plugins and configuration.
Reinstatement. If a dispute you file is resolved in our favour - meaning the card issuer determines the charge was valid - your account will remain suspended until it is returned to good standing. To be reinstated you must pay (a) any amount reversed or withheld as a result of the dispute, and (b) a $50 administrative fee reflecting the staff time and processor costs we incur handling an invalid dispute. This amount is a debt owed to us and a condition of restoring service; it is not charged automatically to your payment method, and we will invoice you for it. We may decline to reinstate any account at our discretion.
Repeat disputes. We may permanently refuse service to any person who files repeated invalid disputes, and may decline future orders from the same customer, payment method or address.
Nothing in this section limits your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer, and nothing here applies to a dispute resolved in your favour.
We may change our prices. We will give at least 30 days notice of a price increase affecting your existing plan, and the new price will apply at your next renewal after that notice.
Free Tier servers are stored on non-redundant striped (RAID0) storage with no automated backups. This configuration has no fault tolerance: the failure of a single storage device will cause the permanent and unrecoverable loss of all data on the affected node, including worlds, configuration files, plugins, mods, and uploads.
We do not guarantee the integrity, retention, availability, or recoverability of any data stored on the Service, and we will not be liable for any loss of data. We strongly recommend downloading your own copies of anything important on a regular basis.
We operate the Service on infrastructure that may be affected by power, network, hardware, and maintenance conditions outside our control. We do not offer a service level agreement or uptime guarantee, and this is especially true of the Free Tier, which is provided on a best-effort basis. We may suspend or terminate your account or any server, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if your account is past due, if required by law, or if necessary to protect the Service, our other customers, or third parties.
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Following termination for any reason, your servers and their data may be deleted permanently.
You retain all ownership of the content you upload to or create on your server. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, copy, transmit, and display that content solely as necessary to operate and support the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to use the content you upload.
Gamers Freedom is an independent hosting provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or any game publisher. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios.
You are responsible for complying with the end user license agreements and commercial usage guidelines of any game, server software, mod, or plugin you run, including Mojang's EULA. You are responsible for any third-party software you install on your server.
A Minecraft server cannot start until the Minecraft EULA has been accepted. By deploying a Minecraft server through the Service, you agree to the Minecraft EULA, and you authorise us to record that acceptance on your behalf on the server we create for you. If you do not agree to the Minecraft EULA, do not deploy a Minecraft server.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARCHWAY POINT LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) TWENTY U.S. DOLLARS ($20). IF YOU USE ONLY THE FREE TIER, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO TWENTY U.S. DOLLARS ($20).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Archway Point LLC from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You and Archway Point LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
