Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Gamers Freedom, operated by Archway Point LLC ("we", "us", "our"), collects when you use gamersfreedom.com, our control panel, and our billing portal (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Short version: we collect what we need to run your account and your game server, and to tell you about our products and offers. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not serve advertising. Free Tier accounts receive product and promotional email as part of the free plan.

1. Information You Give Us

Account information - your name or username, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
Billing information - if you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor collects your payment card and billing details. We do not receive or store full card numbers. We retain only records such as invoices, amounts, plan, and payment status.
Support communications - the contents of emails or tickets you send us, so we can help you and keep a record of the issue.

2. Information Collected Automatically

IP addresses - recorded when you log in, connect over SFTP, or access your server, for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Server and application logs - timestamps, actions taken in the panel, error messages, and similar diagnostic records.
Essential cookies - we use cookies strictly to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Your Server Content

Files you upload or generate on your game server - including worlds, configuration, plugins, mods, and your server's own logs - are stored on our infrastructure so we can provide the Service. We do not routinely review this content. We may access it when reasonably necessary to provide technical support you request, to investigate a suspected violation of our Terms of Service, to maintain the security or integrity of the platform, or to comply with a valid legal request.

Note that your server's logs may record the usernames and IP addresses of players who connect to it. If you operate a server, you are responsible for how you handle your players' information.

4. How We Use Information

To create and administer your account and provision your servers;
To process payments and send invoices and renewal notices;
To send transactional email such as account verification, password resets, and service notices;
To provide support and respond to your requests;
To monitor performance, prevent abuse, and secure the Service;
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
To send product announcements, service updates, plan recommendations and promotional offers relating to Gamers Freedom and other services operated by Archway Point LLC;
To understand how customers use the Service so we can improve it and suggest plans or features that may suit you better.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Marketing Communications

We use the information described above to send you emails about the Service, including product announcements, new features, plan recommendations, upgrade offers and promotions for services operated by Archway Point LLC.

Free Tier accounts. Receiving these emails is part of what makes the Free Tier free. If you use the Free Tier, you agree to receive service and product emails from us, including upgrade offers, and you cannot switch them off while remaining on the Free Tier. If you would prefer not to receive promotional email, you can move to a paid plan or close your account at any time.

Paid plans. Customers on a paid plan can opt out of promotional email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such message, or by emailing us.

Regardless of your plan, every promotional email we send includes an unsubscribe mechanism as required by law, and we will always honour a valid unsubscribe request. Some messages are transactional rather than promotional - for example account verification, password resets, invoices, payment failures, security notices and messages about your server. These are required to operate your account and are sent to all customers on every plan.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes. We share it only in these circumstances:

Service providers - our payment processor (to take payments), our email provider (to deliver transactional email), and our domain and DNS provider. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Legal reasons - if required by law, subpoena, or other valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Archway Point LLC, our users, or the public.
Business transfer - if the Service is acquired or merged, your information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a materially different policy.

7. Data Retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or we terminate it, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. Server files are deleted when the server is deleted. Logs are retained for a limited period and then rotated out.

8. Security

We protect the Service using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, network segmentation, and access controls limiting administrative access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password.

Separately, and importantly: our Free Tier is stored on non-redundant storage without automated backups, and data there may be permanently lost. See Section 9 of our Terms of Service. Keep your own backups.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at GamerSupport@archwaypoint.com and we will delete the account and associated information promptly.

If you are between 13 and 18, please review this policy with a parent or guardian.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You may, at any time:

Access or update your account information from the billing portal;
Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
Request deletion of your account and personal information;
Download your server files before cancelling.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights - for example, residents of California may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and residents of the EEA or UK may have rights under the GDPR, including rights to correction, restriction, portability, and objection. We honor these requests regardless of your location. To make a request, email GamerSupport@archwaypoint.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

11. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to that transfer.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice by email or through the Service.
